SUBSERVIENCE is a story driven puzzle game, that explores the self destructive nature of obsession and showcases four deities originating in various folklore and mythologies from all around the world.

This project was made with a group of six students in which I had the tasks of the concept artist, character designer, and 2D artist. As such, I came up with the design which the models in game are based off of. For both the character designs and 2D-assets in game, I did extensive research into each of the deities' cultural background to create fitting aesthetics and set the mood. Finally, I made a poster for our big showcase on campus to present our game lab project where it won the award "Outstanding Visual Style".

Furthermore, did everyone in the group, have a say concerning the overall idea and concept of the game, which means that I was also involved in coming up with ideas concerning gameplay and story telling.

To fulfill my tasks as 2D-artist and designer, I worked in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator to create the artwork you can see below.
